Here's an update from your elusive communications officer. The Whovians at UCI have been pretty busy these past few months!
- March 29-31: Our trip to WonderCon was a great sucess! We saw some great panels and some absolutely amazing cosplays.
- April 20: Wayzgoose was also a success. Thanks to the donations from our wonderful members, we sold some baked goods (everything from brownies to TARDIS sugar cookies) and waters, made some new friends, and maybe convinced some people to start watching Doctor Who!
- April 22: Tally Day was a hit around the world - everyone was showing up with mysterious marks on their arms! The jury's still out on what was the cause, though we've heard rumors of something called "the Silence."
- May 18: The club is heading to the beach for "Doomsday Day"! Before that, though, we're heading over to a party to celebrate Greg Bretall's father getting a Guinness World Record, where you might even be able to snag some comics for yourself. Afterwards, the beach bonfire will be lots of fun - s'mores over a fire pit!
- May 30: It's the regeneration party! We're holding an end-of-the-year bash in the Student Center to celebrate the year and say goodbye to our graduating members. There'll be food, music, and awards, and of course lots of fun hanging out with friends.
- June 3: It's Bad Wolf Day! Mark up the world with the words "Bad Wolf" in tribute to Rose Tyler, the Bad Wolf herself. We'll freak out Whovians and non-Whovians alike.
